GUNK is a new play by emerging playwright Grace Dougan.

Three best friends try to defy the man by forming the coolest feminist punk band ever. They’re tight AF.

Until one of them falls in love with the enemy…

A boy.

Inspired by Viv Albertine’s autobiography, GUNK is an exploration of three young women navigating their varied relationships with feminism, puberty and men.

Brightmouth produced a sold-out work-in-progress performance at the Etcetera Theatre in Camden this July. We are no longer attached to the future life of this show, but we love it and urge you to keep your eyes peeled for it’s future life.
